The Atlanta Symphony Associates are proud to present our 38th annual Decorators’ Show House and Gardens.
In the way that the Kennedy era transformed our notion of Camelot, this magnificent home will take the romance and elegance of Camelot one more step forward into the 21st century. With every modern advancement in technology, every up-to-the minute amenity and the finest standards in building and architecture, this gracious show house will transport you to a place not even imaginable in the original days of Camelot.
Located at 3750 Tuxedo Road, Camelot, designed by HLP architect Craig Headrick with input from owners Mark Bhaggan and William Hale, is reminiscent of a bygone era with modern day touches. Designed with entertaining in mind, Camelot features distinctive architectural elements combining feng shui and historic European styles. The estate of eight bedrooms and eight bathrooms is situated on more than two acres in the Buckhead community and features a hilled front lawn with a wooded backyard, a pool, wine cellar and wellness center.
This year we are honored to showcase the work of eighteen of the Southeast’s finest interior designers as well as some of Atlanta’s premier landscape designers.
It takes a remarkable team of designers and volunteers to create this annual celebration of design. It would not be possible without the over 1,000 dedicated volunteers who gave their time, talent and enthusiasm so generously to this project. I am especially grateful to this year’s extraordinary chairman, Julie Haas, and her outstanding committee and also to Pat King for her help during the initial phase of this project.
This year we are privileged to have Camille Yow as our honorary chair. Camille’s support of the symphony is legendary. Last year, in her crowning achievement for the Atlanta Symphony Associates, she chaired the most successful sponsorship campaign in the history of the Decorators’ Show House and Gardens. We are delighted to honor her.
The Decorators’ Show House and Gardens is one of several fund-raising events of the Atlanta Symphony Associates, which gives an annual donation of over one million dollars to our nationally-acclaimed Atlanta Symphony Orchestra. We invite you to join us at other prominent fundraisers benefiting the Atlanta Symphony. The Golf Tournament is held every year in April and the beautiful Atlanta Symphony Ball is held every year in November.
